Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related field sales experience.
- Proven track record of success in broker channel sales within the employee benefits industry.
- Experience selling to mid-market employers (100-3,000 employees) is highly preferred.
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in sales discovery, strategic questioning, and active listening.
- Executive presence with excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce for opportunity tracking and forecasting.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for local and out-of-town meetings.
- Background in healthcare navigation, employee benefits technology, virtual care services, or healthcare data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to maximize growth within the assigned territory.
- Build and nurture relationships with employee benefits brokers to acquire new brokerage partnerships.
- Generate revenue by meeting or exceeding assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual booking targets.
- Manage the full sales process including lead generation, qualifying opportunities, and conducting onsite appointments.
- Deliver presentations and demos to articulate the value proposition of the HealthJoy platform.
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive business outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, leads, and activities using Salesforce.
