Requirements
- Valid provincial broker's license required (RIBO preferred).
- 5+ years of insurance experience, commercial preferred.
- 1+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proven ability to set and meet targets consistently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing complex conversations.
- CAIB or CIP designation is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Manage individual performance, goal-setting, and create impactful performance plans.
- Provide motivation, coaching, training, and developmental opportunities to team members.
- Perform regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports and weekly team meetings.
- Conduct monthly audits to ensure quality standards and provide coaching on gaps.
- Set team objectives and oversee day-to-day activities to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Manage staffing plans and ensure adequate resource coverage.
- Handle and oversee all client escalations.
- Map out and implement improvements to the customer journey to elevate Net Promoter Score.
