Requirements
- 7+ years in a technical or service organization, performing hands-on cloud work.
- BS degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous professional services or external client-facing experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, including SQL Always-On deployment and Azure SQL PaaS.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with agile or ITIL frameworks, change management, and regulated environments.
- Required: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Required: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Required: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/AZ-801).
- Required within 90 days: Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200).
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced infrastructure engineering, design, development, configuration, installation, administration, maintenance, and upgrades of infrastructure components within cloud environments.
- Design and build automated solutions for the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructures.
- Use continuous improvement techniques and data-driven analysis to improve delivery timeframes and quality.
- Troubleshoot and advise on advanced infrastructure problems for client escalations and internal operations.
- Contribute to the development and productization of custom value-added cloud services.
- Collaborate with customers to develop operational runbooks and define alerting telemetry.
- Lead service transition build teams in the implementation of greenfield cloud environments, deployment of management tooling, and infrastructure migrations.
- Maintain up-to-date configuration documentation for client cloud configurations and deployments.
