Requirements
- Strong professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure as Code, or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform or OpenTofu, including module development.
- Solid experience with Git, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation workflows, including Atlantis.
- Experience with Ansible and/or Semaphore.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles applied to infrastructure.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure lifecycle, security controls, and scalable provisioning.
- Understanding of state management, secrets management, environment segregation, and infrastructure governance.
- Ability to analyze problems to favor simple, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Strong systems thinking, autonomy, and communication skills.
- Product-oriented mindset viewing IaC as a developer experience capability.
Responsibilities
- Evolve Infrastructure as Code architecture, standards, patterns, and engineering practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable infrastructure modules and abstractions.
- Define module versioning, testing, lifecycle management, and governance practices.
- Build and maintain secure IaC pipelines, incorporating state management, secrets, and environment segregation.
- Develop mechanisms to minimize manual configuration and detect infrastructure drift.
- Implement infrastructure guardrails and policies with embedded security and compliance.
- Create self-service infrastructure experiences for efficient, independent team consumption.
- Partner with internal consumers to translate requirements into scalable platform solutions.
