Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or analytics engineering role.
- Strong SQL proficiency.
- Hands-on experience building or managing a cloud data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Experience implementing ETL/ingestion from SaaS APIs using tools like Fivetran or Airbyte.
- Demonstrated experience building dashboards and data models in Looker or Looker Studio from scratch.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills for consolidating and cleaning data.
- Proven ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders and present to executives.
- Fluent in English with clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-directed and comfortable working as the sole data professional in a company.
- Experience working within U.S. or North American business hours.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the full reporting stack including source connections, data layer, and Looker front-end.
- Select and implement ETL/ingestion solutions like Fivetran or Airbyte.
- Centralize data across eight SaaS systems and build clean, documented data models.
- Maintain the company-wide KPI framework and produce monthly performance reporting for nine departments.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis on profitability, sales performance, and operational throughput.
- Present findings and actionable recommendations to the executive team and department leads.
- Document all data sources, definitions, and processes to ensure scalability.
