Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive payroll experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Workday payroll modules.
- Strong expertise in U.S. payroll tax compliance.
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills including advanced PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong report writing and data analysis skills.
- Proven ability to manage complexity in a global payroll environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end U.S. payroll processing and support international payroll activities.
- Analyze and reconcile payroll data, identifying discrepancies and resolving root causes.
- Validate payroll inputs including earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments for compliance.
- Support federal, state, and local tax compliance and quarterly/year-end activities including W-2s.
- Administer Workday Payroll and Time Tracking, including testing, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and payroll documentation.
- Partner with HRIS on Workday enhancements, testing, and releases.
- Provide customer support for employee and manager payroll inquiries.
