Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive payroll experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Workday payroll modules.
  • Strong expertise in U.S. payroll tax compliance.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills including advanced PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
  • Strong report writing and data analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complexity in a global payroll environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end U.S. payroll processing and support international payroll activities.
  • Analyze and reconcile payroll data, identifying discrepancies and resolving root causes.
  • Validate payroll inputs including earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments for compliance.
  • Support federal, state, and local tax compliance and quarterly/year-end activities including W-2s.
  • Administer Workday Payroll and Time Tracking, including testing, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and payroll documentation.
  • Partner with HRIS on Workday enhancements, testing, and releases.
  • Provide customer support for employee and manager payroll inquiries.
