Requirements
- 5–7+ years of progressive payroll operations experience in a high-growth, publicly traded tech company.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in payroll, accounting, finance, or human resources.
- Advanced proficiency with Workday Payroll, including reporting, configuration, and integrations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, specifically vlookups, index/match, and pivot tables.
- Thorough understanding of global equity taxation and localized statutory benefits.
- Deep knowledge of international labor laws and multi-currency payroll distribution.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential data.
- Experience managing external vendor relationships and third-party tax fulfillment partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage, audit, and execute multi-country payroll delivery across 15+ international countries.
- Lead the payroll calendar and operating cadence across countries to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Partner with local in-country payroll providers to maintain compliance with regional schedules.
- Oversee international equity compensation payroll processing and ensure full regulatory tax compliance.
- Act as functional lead for payroll technology projects, leveraging Workday to automate workflows.
- Establish, document, and enforce global payroll policies and SOX controls.
- Support strategic business initiatives including M&A integrations and new country market entries.
