Requirements
- 4+ years of Product Management experience, ideally focused on payments, fintech, platforms, APIs, or infrastructure.
- Working understanding of payment systems including PSP and gateway integrations, transaction lifecycles, and webhooks.
- Proven track record of shipping platform or infrastructure capabilities in a high-scale environment.
- Strong technical fluency to collaborate on API design, event models, and system architecture.
- Reliability mindset with a focus on correctness, edge cases, and operational resilience.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets including transaction logs and failure reasons to make informed decisions.
- Experience balancing business objectives, operational risk, and the needs of internal development teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for payment orchestration, transaction lifecycle, receipts, and webhook ingress.
- Develop routing and provider strategies to improve authorization rates and cost efficiency.
- Own product requirements for payment states (authorizations, captures, refunds, voids, disputes) and ensure idempotency.
- Build robust webhook processing solutions to provide reliable event delivery.
- Partner with Engineering to develop clean, scalable payment APIs and event models.
- Drive instrumentation, alerting, and monitoring to improve platform reliability and observability.
- Analyze transaction data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and prioritize product investments.
