Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years in engineering management, leading a team of 10+ engineers.
- Background in designing and operating highly available, cloud-native distributed systems.
- Deep familiarity with AWS ecosystems (Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, Kafka).
- Experience with microservices patterns and infrastructure-as-code practices (Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Demonstrated experience driving AI tool adoption within engineering teams.
- Proven track record of shipping complex software products on time and at high quality.
- Experience with agile methodologies and data-driven performance management.
- Experience owning system reliability for mission-critical services.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery roadmap for customer-facing services, internal platform APIs, and Ops Tooling.
- Drive the adoption of AI coding assistants and measure impact on team velocity.
- Ensure operational excellence including system reliability, incident response, and on-call health.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across Product Management, internal engineering, and external-facing teams.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, high-performing engineering team.
- Navigate competing priorities across product features, platform needs, and tooling investments.
- Communicate team strategy, progress, and risks clearly to leadership and partners.
