- Experience managing mixed workforce models including full-time employees and contractors.
- Experience managing the full software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and modern engineering practices.
- Proven ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Experience building cross-functional relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team of engineers to deliver high-impact features and improvements to core services and systems.
- Focus on people management, team development, and strategic execution.
- Set clear priorities, goals, and key metrics while maintaining healthy team dynamics.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including product, design, and customers.
- Build and develop a diverse team through strategic hiring, coaching, and growth opportunities.
- Identify and address technical risks, system bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies.
