Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- 5+ years in engineering management, ideally managing managers or senior ICs across multiple teams.
- Direct experience leading infrastructure, platform, or developer-productivity teams.
- Experience supporting a consumer product at scale.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Expertise in operating scalable production systems with high availability requirements.
- Nice to have: Experience scaling developer tooling (CI/CD, testing, internal environments).
- Nice to have: Experience rolling out AI coding tools/agents.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow ICs, owning hiring, performance, and career development.
- Own roadmap and execution across the infrastructure platform.
- Balance infrastructure reliability work with developer productivity investments.
- Oversee operational excellence including observability, on-call, incident response, SLAs/SLOs, and Production Readiness Reviews.
- Partner with Product Engineering, Security, and Data leaders to ensure infrastructure supports product delivery.
