Requirements
- Hands-on experience conducting risk assessments in fintech, payments, or banking.
- Knowledge of client, counterparty, third-party, or enterprise risk management.
- Working knowledge of underwriting fundamentals, including financial statement review and liquidity analysis.
- Fluency with rubric-based scoring methodologies and the ability to defend ratings.
- Track record of owning discrete risk programs end to end and authoring SOPs.
- Ability to interpret control reports such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and PCI DSS AOC.
- Experience testing, tuning, and documenting AI-assisted or agentic workflows.
- Strong writing skills for producing assessments and memos for regulators or bank partners.
- Self-starter capable of creating structure and working with limited guidance.
Responsibilities
- Execute client risk assessments end to end including document collection, scoring, and tier determination.
- Manage program underwriting criteria, spend/transfer limits, and periodic reassessments.
- Run third party risk operations, including vendor due diligence and control effectiveness ratings.
- Support the enterprise risk assessment by maintaining the risk register and preparing committee materials.
- Test, deploy, and tune agentic tooling to automate assessment workflows and drafting.
- Define and report KPIs and KRIs for assessment programs.
- Serve as the evidence owner for audits, partner banks, and examiner requests.
- Mentor and cross-train team members on assessment methodology and tooling.
