Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP.
- Significant experience building, extending, or integrating learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong experience with APIs, third-party integrations, and identity technologies like OIDC or SAML.
- Experience leading developers technically while maintaining hands-on coding duties.
- Demonstrated experience with automated testing, version control, CI/CD, and modern software development.
- Experience working in a multi-tenant or shared-platform environment.
- Experience working in Scrum, Agile, or iterative delivery models.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Write, review, test, and ship production-quality code.
- Lead the day-to-day technical work of developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring.
- Design and maintain LMS integrations involving SSO, APIs, and data flows.
- Implement platform features, configurations, and reusable functionality in a multi-tenant environment.
- Lead development practices regarding CI/CD, automated testing, security, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA/Section 508).
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and help manage sprint planning and backlogs.
- Present technical progress, risks, and architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Establish standards for the team's use of AI-assisted development tools.
