Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience servicing, managing, or negotiating managed care contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, understand, and communicate the financial implications of contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex contractual and financial information clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard business productivity tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, interpret established guidelines, and exercise sound judgment in varied or occasionally ambiguous situations.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with behavioral health contracting is a plus.
  • Experience working with Medicaid contracts is preferred.
  • Dedicated workspace with minimal interruptions to protect sensitive information.
  • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to company offices for training or meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, negotiate, and execute contracts with physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
  • Communicate contract terms, payment structures, reimbursement rates, and related financial considerations clearly to providers.
  • Analyze the financial impact of proposed contract terms, payment methodologies, and reimbursement arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate provider contracts, records, and supporting documentation within designated tracking systems.
  • Evaluate network composition and business needs and, when appropriate, assist with identifying and recruiting additional providers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provider partners to support effective contract execution and ongoing network objectives.
