Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of experience teaching Pre-K–Grade 12.
- 2+ years of experience coaching educators in Pre-K–Grade 12 settings.
- Strong understanding and practical application of adult learning principles.
- Deep knowledge of instructional best practices in literacy aligned to rigorous English standards.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate professional development in both onsite and virtual formats.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and respond effectively to customer needs in real time.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to travel for work, including overnight stays, approximately 60%+ during summer and 20-40% during the school year.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate high-quality professional learning sessions for teachers and school leaders to ensure effective implementation of Amplify literacy programs.
- Coach a cohort of approximately 20 Professional Learning Specialists through observation, feedback, modeling, and peer practice.
- Design and implement targeted professional development plans based on survey data, observations, and customer feedback.
- Deliver remote and onsite professional development sessions for groups of 30–40 educators approximately two days per week.
- Support the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes for new team members.
- Analyze post-session survey data to provide actionable feedback to team members and identify trends in performance.
- Share product-related insights and customer feedback with internal product development teams.
