Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of PreK–12 teaching experience.
- At least 2 years of experience coaching educators in PreK–12 settings.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory.
- Deep knowledge of STEM instructional best practices aligned to grade-level standards.
- Proven ability to facilitate engaging and effective in-person and virtual professional development.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams).
- Ability to travel (60%+ during peak season, 20–40% during school year).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality remote and onsite professional development to groups of 30–40 educators approximately two days per week.
- Coach and develop a cohort of 30-40 Professional Learning Specialists through observations, modeling, and feedback cycles.
- Design and implement targeted development plans based on observation data, survey results, and customer feedback.
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new Professional Learning Specialists.
- Contribute customer implementation insights and feedback to internal Product and Program teams.
- Manage session logistics and maintain deep expertise in Amplify STEM products and instructional models.
