Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of sales or recruiting experience within the life sciences industry.
- Demonstrated experience selling or supporting Medical Information, patient support, commercial inquiry handling, or other extended medical information services.
- Strong business development capabilities including lead generation, consultative selling, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and maintain a strong customer focus.
- Confident executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address challenging business situations.
- Proactive, self-directed approach with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous and changing environment.
- Demonstrated team-building and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel for business meetings, conferences, and client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships that expand the customer base, strengthen awareness of Medical Information Services, and generate profitable revenue growth.
- Identify market needs, generate leads, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, follow-up, networking, and targeted business development initiatives.
- Lead and support sales meetings, capability presentations, customer discussions, and other activities designed to communicate service value and convert prospects into clients.
- Research and participate in relevant conferences, trade shows, and industry events to increase market visibility, build relationships, and identify new commercial opportunities.
- Develop, write, and coordinate proposals for prospective clients, while supporting contract negotiations and managing the sales process through order close.
- Initiate and facilitate pre-work with prospective clients, including confidentiality agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, and meeting preparation.
- Serve as a key liaison between prospective clients and internal teams to coordinate capability presentations, teleconferences, and proposal discussions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities within CRM systems.
- Partner with client-facing teams and Marketing to develop sales strategies informed by market research and competitive analysis.
- Conduct consistent sales follow-up and ensure communication remains coordinated across internal stakeholders.
