Requirements
- Hold an active provincial General/P&C Insurance license (e.g., OTL General Insurance Agent or General Level 1).
- Eligible for license reciprocity in additional Canadian jurisdictions, excluding Québec.
- Minimum 2 years of professional sales experience with a history of meeting sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong critical-thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain emotional resilience in stressful or sensitive customer interactions.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry.
- Available for a rotating full-time schedule of 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, including weekends.
- Must be available for training Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time for the first eight weeks.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound warm leads from prospective customers interested in pet medical insurance.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to recommend coverage solutions tailored to individual customer needs.
- Clearly communicate policy features, benefits, and value to prospective and existing customers.
- Maintain effective call control to address objections and guide customers through the enrollment process.
- Handle sensitive conversations and escalated customer interactions with patience and emotional intelligence.
- Accurately document information and process pet insurance enrollments.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and collective sales performance targets.
