Requirements
- Active provincial General/P&C Insurance license (e.g., OTL General Insurance Agent, General Level 1, or equivalent).
- Eligible for license reciprocity in jurisdictions excluding Québec.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Ability to handle objections confidently and turn them into opportunities.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekend hours.
- Ability to navigate escalated customers and sensitive conversations empathetically.
- Comfortable with emotional resilience and professional adaptability.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound warm leads from potential customers interested in pet insurance policies.
- Utilize a consultative style to understand customer needs and tailor insurance solutions.
- Present the value of pet insurance policies and emphasize benefits.
- Set the agenda during calls to maintain control and guide conversations toward enrollment.
- Provide detailed information about policies, coverage options, and address customer questions or objections.
- Overcome objections with confidence and empathy to build trust.
- Utilize assumptive closing techniques to guide customers through the enrollment process.
- Accurately enroll pets in policies and ensure data is correctly collected and documented.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to meet or exceed sales targets.
