Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or automation engineering.
- 3+ years of direct experience managing engineers.
- Proven experience managing a globally distributed engineering team across multiple time zones, including India.
- Hands-on experience with workflow automation and orchestration tooling (e.g., Selenium, Workato).
- Experience building integrations across enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and shared roadmaps.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Ability to conduct code reviews and guide developers on CI/CD, TDD, and GitHub best practices.
Responsibilities
- Own integrations, automation, and AI-native workflows across Core IT to remove manual work company-wide.
- Build and maintain automation that serves internal functions, including service organization and identity teams.
- Manage and grow a globally distributed team of engineers in the US and India.
- Set technical direction and shared roadmaps for the team, focusing on capacity, throughput, and velocity.
- Establish working rhythms like overlap hours and handoffs for a globally distributed team.
- Partner with ServiceOps and Business Operations leadership to identify and automate manual processes.
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the automation team to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
