Requirements

  • Master’s degree in education, public health, sociology, psychology, public policy, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative data collection, research analysis, and/or program evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to high-quality, professionally written products.
  • Expertise with SAS code.
  • Ability to take responsibility and ownership of research tasks.
  • Knowledge of prevention research and/or K-20 and/or adult education in the United States preferred.
  • Knowledge of experimental, quasi-experimental, and mixed method research designs preferred.
  • Experience using other statistical packages such as SPSS, R, or Python preferred.
  • Experience creating data visualizations preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research and evaluation plans that include various designs and mixed methods.
  • Develop and implement analysis plans for qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Contribute to technical reports for audiences of researchers and practitioners.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality reviews of work products before submission to client.
  • Develop SAS code for longitudinal projects, as well as reviewing and refining previously written code.
  • Collaborate with research, evaluation, and analytic staff with a variety of backgrounds.
  • Play a supporting role in proposal development for new work.
