Requirements
- 8+ years of Management experience leading high-performing Sales Engineers selling into US Federal and Intelligence accounts.
- 10+ years experience supporting the sales of storage, networking, or systems solutions.
- Deep understanding of US Government IT architecture and multi-tiered client/server solutions.
- Knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN).
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
- Knowledge of VMWare, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- BS in CS, EE, or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Active security clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of pre-sales Systems Engineers.
- Develop and execute technical sales strategies for Federal and Intelligence accounts.
- Act as an employee advocate focused on team and people development.
- Drive operational excellence and create team support methodologies.
- Provide technical leadership on storage, distributed storage architectures, and competitive storage offerings.
- Assist in capturing requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Author responses to RFI and RFPs.
- Promote thought leadership regarding market trends and the competitive landscape.
