Requirements
- 3–5+ years of agency account management experience, ideally at a digital marketing agency.
- Strong understanding of SEO, including organic rankings, local SEO, Google Business Profile, technical SEO, and content strategy.
- Ability to independently lead client meetings and explain SEO strategy.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong organization and follow-through to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Proficiency in adapting to various communication styles and software systems.
- Experience working in a white-label or agency-to-agency environment is a plus.
- Experience with project management or CRM tools such as Teamwork, HubSpot, ClickUp, or Asana is a plus.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Ahrefs, GA4, Google Search Console, or Looker Studio is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of small to midsize business clients across industries.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, handle day-to-day questions, and build strong long-term relationships.
- Lead kickoff calls and regular client meetings to ensure clients understand account status and strategy.
- Review performance data in tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio to explain results clearly.
- Translate client goals and requests into actionable briefs for internal SEO, content, and web teams.
- Monitor project progress, solve issues, and ensure deadlines are met using agency systems.
- Handle difficult conversations and provide strategic pushback when necessary to align with client goals.
- Identify potential client concerns to maintain account health and improve long-term retention.
