Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer, consultant, IT architect, or equivalent customer-facing technical role in enterprise accounts.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their native services ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat managed cloud services (ROSA, ARO).
- Solid working knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift.
- Product knowledge across the broader Red Hat portfolio including RHEL, Ansible Automation Platform, and OpenShift Virtualization.
- Consultative selling skills with the ability to design and propose solutions with business acumen.
- Proven record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Broad understanding of application lifecycle (DevOps), containers, container security, and CI/CD tooling.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account teams and Customer Success to identify customer use cases, challenges, and blockers to adoption and consumption of Managed OpenShift.
- Remove organizational, competitive, and technical blockers to the adoption of enterprise-wide Managed OpenShift.
- Provide technical guidance in defining a customer-approved, enterprise-ready Managed OpenShift architecture.
- Plan, design, and execute tailored solutions that address customer adoption blockers.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the Managed OpenShift Product and SRE teams to help improve the product.
- Support the design of solutions that meet customer business and technical requirements.
- Demonstrate consultative selling skills, designing and proposing solutions with business acumen.
- Facilitate pre- and post-sales activities including technical deep dives, proofs of concept, workshops, and internal enablement events.
