Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or closely related roles.
- Deep hands-on expertise designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity and access management, security controls, and foundational cloud architecture principles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
- Strong understanding of containerization, serverless technologies, managed data services, and modern cloud application architectures.
- Proven ability to create formal architecture documentation and communicate technical recommendations.
- Experience leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Professional cloud architecture certification from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern enterprise cloud-native architectures across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains.
- Translate strategic business and technology objectives into scalable, secure, practical, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Establish and maintain architecture standards, principles, patterns, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, security architects, software engineers, and platform teams.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation initiatives.
- Evaluate cloud technologies and services including containers, serverless, and managed databases.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical direction.
- Develop formal architecture artifacts, documentation, and diagrams.
- Support enterprise cloud governance and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
