Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust fitness determination at the High Risk level.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, cloud security, or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS and infrastructure-as-code technologies.
  • Advanced practical experience with Terraform and Ansible in version-controlled production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS security and architecture, including IAM, VPC, networking, EC2, S3, KMS, and CloudTrail.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and container ecosystems such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Experience using security assessment tools such as Checkov, tfsec, Trivy, Grype, Prowler, and Semgrep.
  • Strong Linux, networking, Git, and scripting capabilities using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Ability to work effectively in customer-provided remote environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure across networking, IAM, compute, storage, data, logging, and security services using reusable Terraform modules and Ansible automation.
  • Establish and maintain secure infrastructure-as-code practices including version control, code review, testing, and change auditing.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for assessment infrastructure, integrating security scanning tools such as SAST, DAST, and container vulnerability scanners.
  • Assess AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and container configurations to identify exploitable security weaknesses within approved scopes.
  • Validate authorized attack paths involving privilege escalation, lateral movement, and software supply-chain risks.
  • Develop automation and operational tooling using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Partner with attack-surface testing engineers and customer platform owners to troubleshoot and deliver secure, repeatable capabilities.
