Job Details

Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) required.
10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs with a track record of country leadership.
Strong background and expertise in oncology.
Proven experience supporting oncology product launches in the Netherlands.
Deep understanding of the local Dutch healthcare system, clinical practice, and regulatory environment.
Proven value and benefit assessment experience with an understanding of Dutch payer decision-making.
Proven leadership and people management capabilities in an entrepreneurial environment.
Experience in a biotech company and/or in a company build-out phase.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
Scientific and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate an ambiguous environment.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Define and execute the local medical strategy for the Netherlands across the oncology portfolio.
Translate global medical and clinical strategies into locally relevant plans aligned with Dutch regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, oncology networks, and academic institutions.
Lead scientific exchange, advisory boards, and congress engagement at the country level.
Collaborate with Market Access and Commercial teams to support value communication and reimbursement activities.
Lead medical launch readiness for oncology products including training and field medical plans.
Provide medical review and approval of non-promotional materials per local regulations.
Build, lead, and develop the country medical affairs team as the organization grows.
