Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, insurance operations, quality assurance, audit, compliance, customer service, claims, or enrollment.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Individual and Family Plan operations, dental products, and operational workflows.
  • Proven experience supporting quality assurance, audit activities, complaints, grievances, escalations, or regulatory inquiries.
  • Knowledge of Federal Exchange, State-Based Exchange, or Department of Insurance environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify trends and conduct root cause analyses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in complex, fast-paced, and highly regulated environments.
  • Must maintain an internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic provider with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload speeds.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance activities and establish audit methodologies, monitoring programs, and reporting processes.
  • Oversee the intake, investigation, and resolution of complex customer escalations, complaints, and Department of Insurance inquiries.
  • Support internal, external, and regulatory audit activities by coordinating evidence collection and remediation.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal Exchange, State-Based Exchange, and Department of Insurance requirements.
  • Analyze operational data and conduct root cause analyses to identify trends and process improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Compliance, and Vendor Management, to improve performance.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team responsible for quality, audit, and customer issue resolution.
