  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Literacy, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development or content development, preferably within K–12 education or publishing.
  • Deep subject-matter expertise in K–12 literacy instruction and curriculum.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into high-quality, learner-centered content.
  • Proficiency in managing and delivering content across instructor-led training, eLearning, and microlearning.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and digital learning platforms.
  • Knowledge of best practices for accessible, inclusive, and compliant learning content.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee timelines and concurrent initiatives.
  • Ability to synthesize cross-functional input to align content strategy.
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions and adapt delivery methods to meet audience needs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute content development tasks for instructor-led training, eLearning, and microlearning to support literacy product training.
  • Lead content development across multiple formats and content areas, including high-visibility deliverables.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for literacy product content needs.
  • Synthesize input from Program Managers, Product Development, and Product Marketing to inform literacy content strategy.
  • Partner with Learning Experience Program Managers to ensure training aligns with platform capabilities and learner needs.
  • Support LMS administration and manage content production timelines.
  • Facilitate training sessions and contribute to process documentation and quality reviews.
  • Ensure all content meets accessibility, inclusivity, and regulatory compliance standards.
