Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience driving SEO performance for enterprise or large-scale brands.
- Demonstrated experience leading both traditional SEO and AEO initiatives in AI-driven search environments.
- Deep understanding of AI Overviews, generative search, structured data/schema, entity-based optimization, and E-E-A-T frameworks.
- Proficiency with SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Lumar (DeepCrawl), Yext, Lighthouse, and Google Business Profile.
- Experience with AI-powered workflows, automation, APIs, and advanced data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively as a contractor managing priorities across multiple accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute holistic search strategies encompassing traditional SEO, AEO, and AI-driven search to drive growth.
- Optimize content and technical implementation for generative search engines, AI Overviews, and LLM discovery platforms.
- Perform comprehensive technical, content, competitive, and app SEO audits and oversee implementation.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver integrated search performance.
- Develop reporting frameworks to measure SEO/AEO ROI, including zero-click engagement and AI search visibility.
- Manage project deliverables and timelines in JIRA for multiple client accounts.
