Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, SEO writing, or a closely related field.
- Portfolio of published work demonstrating writing quality and search performance.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of on-page SEO best practices (keyword research, search intent, site architecture).
- Ability to write long-form guides, blog posts, and landing page copy.
- Familiarity with GEO / AI search optimization.
- Self-directed work style suitable for an individual contributor role in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability during the required window of 2 PM - 10 PM IST.
Responsibilities
- Plan, write, and publish blog content targeting Greek life and collegiate custom apparel keywords.
- Develop search-intent-focused guides, listicles, and how-to content.
- Manage content calendars mapping to seasonal collegiate events.
- Execute on-page SEO including meta tags, headers, and internal linking strategies.
- Build a backlink strategy through pitching guest posts and data-driven stories to relevant media.
- Develop and execute strategies for AI search platforms like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
- Monitor performance data and conduct regular content audits to improve domain authority.
