Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous business problems and independently turn them into deployed software solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Proven experience delivering complex production systems with minimal oversight and strong end-to-end ownership.
- Strong product thinking and judgment, including the ability to assess build-versus-buy decisions.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools effectively in production.
- Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment, particularly when validating, refining, and extending AI-generated solutions.
- Experience building and maintaining production web applications.
- Familiarity with modern application frameworks such as Laravel or comparable technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing experimentation or A/B testing frameworks using tools such as PostHog.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Cloudflare, or comparable platforms.
- Strong experience with relational databases and writing and optimizing queries.
- Proficiency with Git-based development workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.
Responsibilities
- Use AI-assisted development practices to rapidly prototype, validate, and deliver production-ready software solutions.
- Identify opportunities where software, automation, data, or AI can improve operational efficiency, products, or revenue outcomes.
- Own solutions end-to-end, from discovery and scoping through architecture, implementation, deployment, measurement, and ongoing iteration.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges, define solutions, communicate trade-offs, and measure results.
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, automations, and internal tools that deliver measurable business value.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, and the long-term evolution of platforms and systems.
- Work with cloud infrastructure and edge platforms such as AWS and Cloudflare.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Conduct thoughtful code reviews, maintain high engineering standards, and support other engineers through technical mentorship and problem-solving.
