Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in client-facing trading support, brokerage operations, or investor services.
- Experience with a major brokerage or tech-enabled RIA is preferred.
- Solid understanding of equity and ETF trading, option strategies, and order routing.
- Knowledge of cost basis methods, tax-loss harvesting, and custodian transfer processes.
- Proficiency with Order Management Systems (OMS) and custodial platforms.
- Proficiency with portfolio management or rebalancing software such as Orion, Envestnet, or Addepar.
- Advanced analytical skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial CRM or ticketing software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts.
- Demonstrated empathy, active listening skills, and ability to remain calm under high-pressure market conditions.
- Strong problem-solving ability with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members regarding trade execution, order types, cost basis, and portfolio rebalancing.
- Educate members on brokerage features, market mechanics, trading rules, and tax-loss harvesting concepts.
- Resolve elevated member inquiries regarding trade discrepancies, order status, and corporate actions.
- Partner with CFP financial planners to align execution workflows with member financial plans.
- Facilitate and monitor trade requests and model adjustments across custodian platforms like Schwab, Fidelity, and Apex.
- Act as an internal trading authority for managed account mechanics and multi-sleeve portfolio structures.
- Identify opportunities to streamline trading interactions and internal escalation workflows.
