Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Project Management Certification (PMP) or equivalent industry-recognized curriculum.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Proven experience managing projects across multiple technologies and programmatic areas.
- Extensive knowledge in resource management, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and change management.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and IT service management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all project activities comply with Florida Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG-1.009, F.A.C.
- Lead and implement multiple concurrent medium-to-high complexity IT projects.
- Coordinate activities across WITS, bureau leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
- Create and maintain project charters, schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), risk registers, and status reports.
- Evaluate change requests, perform impact analyses, and manage variance and trends.
- Monitor project health, risks, and baselines while developing mitigation strategies.
- Conduct requirements elicitation, workflow mapping, and stakeholder validation sessions.
- Plan resource allocation, budgets, and quality standards for project deliverables.
- Provide written weekly status reports on program progress, costs, and risks.
