Requirements
- Prior financial services or related administrative support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Sales experience highly preferred.
- Understanding of the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with high-level, busy professionals.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and present a positive and professional demeanor.
- Self-starter, active contributor and ability to listen to and deliver on client’s needs and expectations.
- Must be highly flexible and confidential with all matters.
- Ability to occasionally travel to both channel partner offices and prospects’ locations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Regional Vice President (RVP) to manage new client onboarding from initial agreement to becoming an official client.
- Execute the Three-Part New Client Onboarding Process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare, send, and process all required client paperwork and documentation.
- Set up new clients across all Mercer systems and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor custodian platforms to confirm account linking, funding, and transfers are completed promptly.
- Facilitate smooth hand-off to the Wealth Management Team (WMT) by introducing the client and providing a completed onboarding checklist.
- Track and secure additional assets and opportunities during the first year of the client relationship, including running Fi360 attestations for new retirement assets.
