Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or philanthropic partnerships, ideally in international development, global health, or technology-for-good.
- Demonstrated professional network within foundations or major donor communities active in social impact.
- Proven track record of securing significant gifts or grants and managing multi-year funder relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical mission-driven work into compelling support cases.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of building processes from scratch.
- Fluent English communication skills with the ability to work in a distributed, multicultural environment.
- Ability to work independently as part of a fully-remote team.
- Reliable access to a dedicated remote workspace with stable internet for daily video collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy targeting foundations, major donors, and mission-aligned funders.
- Establish necessary systems, processes, and reporting cadences for a new fundraising function.
- Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with family offices, foundations, and individual donors.
- Draft and coordinate persuasive funding proposals, narratives, and impact reports.
- Represent the organization at relevant policy and DPG ecosystem convenings.
- Collaborate with leadership to track fundraising pipeline metrics and progress.
