Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production software.
- Strong Python proficiency with hands-on experience building production backend services and APIs.
- Experience designing maintainable backend architectures (authentication, authorization, validation, testing, observability).
- Experience developing distributed or cloud-based systems with knowledge of scalability and reliability.
- Hands-on experience building production AI-enabled applications using LLM APIs, agents, or RAG.
- Experience defining, evaluating, and improving the quality of AI-enabled systems in production.
- Ability to identify opportunities independently and move technical work from idea to implementation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly.
- Interest in secure software development and building expertise in application and AI security.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-enabled workflows and multi-agent systems for security design review, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis.
- Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and semantic search experiences for code and documentation repositories.
- Create automated code-review tools to identify insecure patterns and improve software quality.
- Build production Python services and APIs with focus on architecture, observability, and reliability.
- Operate scalable pipelines for ingesting and processing large volumes of security-related data.
- Improve AI system quality through evaluation frameworks, prompt management, and observability.
- Manage production tradeoffs including latency, model selection, and token usage.
- Design integrations with third-party tools such as GitHub, Slack, Jira, and Confluence.
