Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
- 12–15+ years of technical experience in telecommunications, data communications, or networking.
- Sales management experience, with Sales Engineering leadership strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Internet Content Provider (ICP) customers and established key decision-maker relationships.
- Detailed understanding of Data Center, Edge, and Core network architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and network element APIs.
- Ability to lead teams and manage complex technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to explain technical architecture and trade-offs to business and technical audiences.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities for data-driven strategic decision-making.
- Ability to travel regularly, including 25%+ domestic and occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead and build a high-performing Sales Engineering team, establishing consistent methodologies.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for teams supporting major Global Cloud Networking accounts.
- Partner with engineering, services, and product organizations to deliver customer experiences.
- Provide solutions sales and business development oversight with focus on software, routing, and edge strategies.
- Lead technical customer engagements and ensure product direction aligns with customer needs.
- Develop and present strategic business reviews to senior management.
- Manage forecasting, reporting, and revenue execution across the portfolio.
