Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in hands-on technical roles with significant customer- or partner-facing responsibilities.
- Background as a forward deployed engineer, solutions architect, consulting engineer, technical founder, or engineering lead.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including commitment/discount constructs and billing mechanics.
- Proficiency with modern developer tooling including APIs, Git, scripting, IaC, and CI/CD.
- Demonstrated ability to debug integration failures in collaboration with third-party engineering teams.
- Experience pressure-testing data-driven recommendations for financial accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex technical designs to both technical and executive audiences.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (AZ-305) or equivalent depth.
- Experience in early-stage or scaling-startup environments.
- Familiarity with channel/distribution motions, hyperscaler marketplaces, or co-sell programs.
- FinOps Foundation certification (FinOps Practitioner or FOCUS Analyst) preferred.
- Multi-cloud knowledge across AWS or GCP.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical owner on engagements from scoping problems to production implementation.
- Build time-boxed integrations, prototypes, microapps, and proofs of concept against partner and hyperscaler APIs.
- Model and defend complex cloud commitment strategies including reservations, savings plans, and fleet modernization.
- Resolve complex technical field problems including onboarding, RBAC, billing-data integrity, and production escalations.
- Serve as the technical overlay on enterprise and partner pursuits, supporting co-sell motions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to isolate root causes, manage tickets, and prioritize feature requests.
- Own technical documentation, verifying accuracy against platform behavior and creating content for GTM Enablement.
