Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with systems or infrastructure experience.
- Expert hands-on experience using agentic development tools such as OpenAI Codex and Claude Code.
- Demonstrated experience integrating LLM APIs and building comprehensive evaluations for automated workflows.
- Proven track record of shipping internal tooling or developer productivity solutions that saw team adoption.
- Ability to build credibility and influence senior systems engineers through measurable results.
- Self-directed work style with the ability to define a roadmap based on observed friction.
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation, design plans, and async updates.
- Preferred: Background in low-level or hardware-adjacent software, such as kernel drivers or trace analysis.
- Preferred: Experience with CI/CD systems, build, and release engineering.
- Preferred: Prior experience in forward-deployed, solutions, or platform engineering roles.
Responsibilities
- Embed with APS sub-teams across firmware, runtime, performance, and simulation to build agentic workflows for coding, debugging, and testing.
- Pair directly with senior engineers to implement and iterate on developer productivity improvements.
- Own the shared skills repository and internal agent tooling for reusable automation.
- Wire AI agents into CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and log/trace triage systems.
- Develop and maintain evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of engineering automation.
- Champion AI-native engineering culture while maintaining strict standards for correctness.
