Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in economics, finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with India’s petrochemical industry, particularly agrochemicals.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, public policy, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong experience analyzing industry growth and its impact on the wider economy.
- Solid understanding of finance, public policy, quantitative analysis, and energy market economic factors.
- Knowledge of the policy and regulatory environment surrounding India’s petrochemical industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Knowledge or experience in ammonia and agrochemical markets is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research and analysis across the petrochemical industry, with a particular focus on the agrochemical and textile sectors in India.
- Analyze banks, financing structures, investment mechanisms, and financial institutions connected to the petrochemical industry.
- Monitor industry developments through articles, reports, and investor presentations to identify trends and risks.
- Develop forecasts and assess economic and market trends affecting India’s agrochemical and textile sectors.
- Collect, organize, and analyze economic and financial data using quantitative models and statistical techniques.
- Engage with regulators, government stakeholders, banking institutions, and investors in India and internationally.
- Represent the organization at meetings, forums, and stakeholder discussions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and independently develop original reports, commentaries, and presentations.
- Support the drafting, formatting, and editing of research and communications materials.
