Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in project engineering, project controls, or a closely related role.
- Required experience within the nuclear industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering project workflows and multidisciplinary design execution.
- Familiarity with engineering documentation, deliverable registers, and progress tracking.
- Ability to coordinate multiple engineering inputs and maintain technical accuracy.
- Proficiency in collaborating across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Capacity to provide technical guidance and share best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead system-level engineering and integrated design execution within delegated technical authority.
- Act as a project team lead to maintain technical progress and ensure alignment with cost and schedule expectations.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables across disciplines, including drawings, specifications, and data sheets.
- Identify, track, and resolve cross-system interface requirements and execution risks.
- Facilitate engineering flow between disciplines, Procurement, and Construction.
- Support the preparation of technical RFI/RFP materials and track vendor data submissions.
- Perform quality reviews to ensure designs meet policies and client standards.
- Mentor junior engineering colleagues on technical practices and project execution.
