Requirements
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent).
- 8+ years of relevant experience in scientific communications, publications, or Medical Affairs.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing publication plans, scientific platforms, and congress deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of Good Publication Practice (GPP) and ICMJE authorship criteria.
- Experience with medical/legal/regulatory review processes and industry standards.
- Proven ability to manage external medical communications agencies and medical writers.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead through influence.
- Launch or late-stage development experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in multiple sclerosis, neurology, or chronic autoimmune disease areas preferred.
- Experience building scalable scientific communications infrastructure preferred.
- Proficiency with literature surveillance and competitive intelligence tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee implementation of integrated scientific communications plans for vidofludimus calcium and pipeline products.
- Manage publication planning operations, including steering committees, author engagement, and development of manuscripts, abstracts, and posters.
- Develop and maintain the scientific platform, lexicon, and core narrative to ensure consistent communication.
- Oversee medical congress and field content planning, including scientific messaging and training tools.
- Monitor literature and synthesize competitive intelligence to inform content strategy and risk mitigation.
- Establish scalable content standards, review processes, and operating models in partnership with Medical Affairs Operations.
- Select, manage, and hold external medical communications and writing agencies accountable for quality and budgets.
