Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Science Manager.
- At least 2 years of experience managing a data team larger than 4 people.
- Strong strategic data leadership with experience driving decisions.
- Strong experience working with executive or C-level peers and managing stakeholders across levels of seniority.
- Experience managing top-tier data talent.
- Proficiency in a variety of data science tools including business intelligence, experimentation, and causal inference.
- Proficiency in machine learning.
- Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
- Ability to pick the right tool for the job and mentor others.
- Experience in financial crime, fraud detection, or similar areas like Trust & Safety, Integrity, or Security is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a discipline of exceptional data scientists and analysts focused on detecting and fighting financial crime.
- Hire, develop, and retain talented data professionals.
- Generate insights to change the direction of financial crime strategy.
- Provide data leadership and rigor to product development, structuring complex projects.
- Collaborate with risk, product, and engineering managers to ensure high-quality data collection and business insights.
