Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Data Science Manager.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a data team of 4 or more people.
  • Strong strategic leadership skills with experience driving data-driven decisions.
  • Proven experience working with executive or C-level peers and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience using a variety of data science tools spanning business intelligence, experimentation, causal inference, and machine learning.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of data scientists and data analysts.
  • Develop and execute data strategy to improve financial crime detection, prevention, and mitigation efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and financial crime control owners in an agile environment.
  • Hire, mentor, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Generate business-critical insights to inform and evolve financial crime strategies.
  • Liaise with executive and C-level peers to align data projects with business goals.
  • Structure complex projects and bring them to life through a rigorous analytical approach.
