Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis with deep understanding of cloud operations or architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Databricks; multi-cloud expertise preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures including containerization, serverless, and managed databases.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog or CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience building BI assets using tools like Looker, Mode, or Tableau.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to executive audiences.
- Comfortable maintaining data dictionaries and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical understanding of the organization’s cloud architecture.
- Map relationships between architectural decisions and cost drivers to identify optimization opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into cloud cost trends.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to promote business metrics, self-service analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Define and enforce cloud governance policies including tagging and resource lifecycle management.
- Maintain runbooks and documentation for operational data management processes.
