Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a data-heavy backend role.
- Strong SQL skills for reading and writing non-trivial analytical queries.
- Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks such as Dagster or Airflow.
- Strong proficiency in Python or a similar language used for data work.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses or analytical stores like BigQuery, ClickHouse, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Demonstrated experience integrating third-party REST APIs while handling rate limits, pagination, and data failures.
- Proven track record of ensuring data correctness, including building assertion and reconciliation processes.
- Demonstrated AI-augmented working style with experience using AI tools across the engineering workflow.
- Experience developing solutions in the cloud.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated professional.
Responsibilities
- Build new integrations against third-party billing and usage APIs to increase platform data visibility.
- Maintain existing integrations by adapting to vendor API and pricing model changes.
- Utilize AI-augmented workflows for code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure data quality by implementing checks for duplication, gaps, and race conditions.
- Design and build normalization models for consistent vendor billing data across currencies and taxonomies.
- Manage end-to-end orchestration, scheduling, and backfill mechanics for ingestion pipelines.
- Collaborate with product and support teams to identify and address data gaps.
