Requirements
- Proven experience leading an SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering team.
- Experience managing reports' growth, performance, and career progression.
- Hands-on background in site reliability, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Experience running Kubernetes in production.
- Experience with AWS at scale.
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
- Proficiency with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience with incident response, on-call rotation, and reliability engineering.
- Hands-on AI building, enablement, or scaling AI infrastructure.
- Excellent written communication skills for an async, fully distributed environment.
- Experience working in regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full career lifecycle of direct reports, including onboarding, feedback, performance assessment, and progression.
- Steer the team's focus and priorities against company goals.
- Serve as the spokesperson for the SRE team across engineering and to senior leadership.
- Own core infrastructure components including Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, DNS, TLS, and CI systems.
- Direct reliability practices such as SLOs, error budgets, incident response, and observability.
- Partner with the security team on threats, patching, compliance, and infrastructure controls.
