Requirements
- 12+ years of experience as an engineer and leading complex engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of Go and familiarity with Java, TypeScript, or other programming languages.
- Deep domain knowledge of Device Management architectures (policy management, enrollment, APNs) for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Experience working in a distributed systems environment and with databases.
- Proven ability to design and architect solutions involving multiple services, front-end, and databases.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive projects from conception to completion.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and drive clarity in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical foundation in software engineering design principles.
- Experience working with geographically diverse teams in a remote-first environment.
- Must be fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Responsibilities
- Tackle large, complex engineering problems and serve as a technical leader on cross-functional projects.
- Independently research requirements and collaborate with Product Managers and UX to define features.
- Decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward architectural solutions.
- Exert technical influence to drive high availability, reliability, and performance across teams.
- Partner with Principal Engineers and Architects to drive a shared technical strategy.
- Mentor and assist in the career development of other engineers.
- Balance technical leadership with business judgment to guide technology choices.
