Requirements
- 12+ years of experience as an engineer and leading complex engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of Go and familiarity with Java, TypeScript, or other programming languages.
- Deep domain knowledge of Device Management architectures (policy management, enrollment, APNs).
- Expertise in macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android device management and policy enforcement.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
- Experience working in a distributed systems environment and with databases.
- Experience designing/architecting solutions involving various services, front end, and databases.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive projects from conception to completion.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and drive clarity while delivering incremental value.
- Experience working with geographically diverse engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Tackle the largest and most complex problems on the team as a technical leader on cross-functional projects.
- Work with limited visibility of requirements to carry out independent research and collaborate with UX and Product Managers.
- Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
- Exert technical influence to help teams build highly available, reliable, and performant solutions.
- Work alongside Principal Engineers and Architects to drive a shared strategy across teams.
- Partner across engineering and product management teams to empower initiatives impacting multiple teams.
- Assist in career development and actively mentor individuals on advanced technical issues.
- Balance technical leadership with strong business judgment to inform technology choices.
